Description

Goan MeatBall Curry Recipe delicious goan curry dish. The recipe for goan meatball curry is prepared with coconut milk and other spices, it is really a delicious and easy dish. Lamb or Beef can be used for goan koftas curry. This is also called Indian Meat Kofta. Check how to make meat koftas in goan style.


Ingredients

For Goan MeatBalls / Koftas

  • 500 gms Minced Lamb / Beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves
  • 1 green chilly chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 egg beaten

For Goan Meatball Curry / Goan Koftas Masala Paste

  • 3 kashmiri chillies
  • cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 6 cloves
  • 5 peppercorn
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick

For Goan Meat Ball Curry

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 5 curry leaves
  • 2 green chilies chopped
  • salt
  • oil
  • leaves coriander chopped

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients in the Goan MeatBalls Curry and make small balls and keep aside to make Goan MeatBall Curry.
  • Take all the ingredients in the Goan Meat Curry / Goan Koftas Masala Paste add little water and grind them to a fine paste and keep it aside
  • Take oil in the frying pan and fry the meatballs till cooked and keep them aside on paper
  • In cooking pan heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the chopped onion till slightly brown
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes becomes soft
  • Then add the masala paste that was kept aside and fry for atleast one minute
  • Add the coconut milk, curry leaves and green chillies and then bring it to a boil
  • Now gently add the meatballs in the curry and simmer for atleast 2 minutes
  • Now the Goan Meatball Curry With Coconut Milk is ready, sprinkle coriander leaves and this goan kofta / meatballs can be served with boiled rice, chappati or bread (goan pao)
