Ingredients
Goan Prawns Chilli Fry
- 400 gms medium sized prawns
- 3 medium onions chopped
- 2 green chillies chopped/slit
- 2 medium potatoes peeled and cut into small cubes optional
Marinate Goan Shrimps Chilli Fry
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
Instructions
- For Prawn Chilli Fry Goan Style, first, clean and devein the prawns, nicely wash them, then marinate the prawns with all the ingredients mentioned in Marinate Goan Shrimps Chilli Fry and keep them aside for atleast 30 minutes.
- Heat oil and fry the onions and green chillies till the onions becomes slightly brown and keep them aside
- Fry the potatoes till they nicely fried and golden brown and keep them aside
- Then fry the prawns till they are nearly done and then add the fried onions and potatoes that were kept aside and continue cooking
- You can adjust salt for taste and cook the prawns chilli fry till the prawns are completely cooked.
- You can serve the Shrimps Chilly Fry with potatoes as side dish with rice and goan sorak curry or with chapatti or bread.
