Description
Lemon Pepper Fish Fry is a delicious fish fry which is loved by all people who like fish. The garam masala gives the extra taste to the fish. Lemon Pepper Fish Fry is a very easy recipe to fry fish by adding the powders of peppercorn and fennel seeds. Goes well with bread /chappatis / rotis.
Ingredients

- 500Â gms Fish Slices
- 2 tsp pepper seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds / sauf
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1–2 sprigs curry leaves
- 3 tbsp coriander leaves
- 2Â green chillies slit
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 3 tbsp oil
Marination
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp tumeric powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash the fish slices and apply the lemon juice, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and keep for marination for 15 minutes
- Grind together to fine powder the fennel seeds, pepper seeds, coriander leaves and keep aside
- Fry the ginger garlic paste, green chillies, curry leaves in oil till the raw smell disappers.
- Add the marinated fish and fry on both sides at 3 minutes on each side
- Then add half of the powder kept aside and fry for atleast 2 minutes and then turn the fish and add the remaining half powder and fry the fish till it is completely done.
- Then sprinkle the garam masala and serve with roti, bread or paratha.
