- 1.750 kg red carrots peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 400 gms mava crumbled
- 7 tbsp ghee
- 10 almonds blanched and sliced

10 Cashews blanched and sliced

10 Pistachios blanched and sliced
Instructions
- For Gajar ka Halwa in pressure cooker, put carrots and milk in pressure cooker and bring to full pressure on high heat.
- Remove from heat. Release the pressure with slight lifting of vent. Open cooker
- Place cooker with carrots on high heat. Add sugar. Cook till liquid dries up (approx 15 mins), stirring occasionally.
- Add mava and ghee. Cook till ghee shows seperately (approx 10 mins), stirring constantly
- Serve gajar halwa with mawa hot and garnish with dry fruits (almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts)
