Ingredients For Chicken Curry (No Coconut)
- chicken pieces (washed)
- oil
- cardamoms
- cinnamon stick
- onions medium sized chopped fined
- ginger garlic paste
- green chillies sliced
- tomatoes medium sized chopped fined
- red chilli powder
- turmeric powder
- yogurt beaten
- garam Masala Powder
- black pepper corn powder
- coriander powder
- cashewnuts paste optional
- freshly chopped coriander leaves
- salt to taste
How to Cook Indian Chicken Curry Without Coconut Milk
- For no coconut chicken curry, first heat oil and the fry the cinnamon and cardamons for few seconds. Then add the chopped onions and fry till the become golden brown. Then add the chilies and fry for few seconds. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few seconds till you get a good aroma.
- Add the red chilli powder and turmeric powder and fry them for 20 – 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes and fry 2 – 3 minutes. Finally, add the chicken pieces, and fry till the chicken is slightly cooked and oil is separated. Then add the yogurt and stir it well and cook for 20 – 30 seconds.
- Now add the pepper powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder and mix well. Further, add the cashew nut paste and mix well. Cook for 5 – 7 minutes on medium flame. Finally add 2 cups water, salt, and coriander leaves and mix well. Cook till the chicken becomes tender, stirring occasionally. Finally, Chicken Gravy without Coconut Milk is ready for serving.

Ingredients
- 500 grams chicken pieces (washed)
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3–4 onions medium sized chopped fined
- 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 3 green chillies sliced
- 4 tomatoes medium sized chopped fined
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 cup yogurt beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper corn powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 4 cashewnuts paste optional
- 2 tablespoon freshly chopped coriander leaves
- salt to taste
Instructions

For no coconut chicken gravy, first heat oil and fry cinnamon stick and cardamons for few seconds

Add the chopped onions and fry till slight golden brown and then add slit chillies and fry for few seconds

After that add ginger garlic paste and saute for another few seconds.

Then add red chilli powder, tumeric powder and fry till the powder aroma goes

Then add chopped tomatoes and fry to 2-3 minutes

After that add chicken pieces into it and fry till the chicken is slightly cooked or color changed and oil is show seperately

Then add the yogurt and mix it well and cook

Add black peppercorn powder, coriander seeds powder, garam masala powder into it and mix well.

Add cashewnut paste into it, mix well. (if you want to)

Now cook it for 5 – 7 minutes on medium flame

Now add 2 cups water, salt, coriander leaves and mix and cook the chicken till it gets tender, stirring

Keep cooking till it is completely done and serve the delicious chicken curry without coconut milk with rice, pulav, chappatis, rotis or bread

- For the less gravy thickness, water can be added
- garam masala and chilli powder can be adjusted to your taste
